POSITION SUMMARY

Join the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank, a cornerstone of community support, as our Data & IT Strategy Manager. This pivotal role oversees our technological and data frameworks, enhancing our capability to deliver essential services effectively. As a steward of both our data integrity and technological advancements, you will empower us to make data-driven decisions and optimize our resource allocation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Data Management

  • Spearhead the management of key data systems including Compass 360 (client & service data) and Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT (CRM for donors, volunteers, and other constituents).

  • Ensure data integrity through rigorous quality control measures and analytics, continually asking: How accurate is our data? What is it telling us? What should it tell us that it currently does not?

  • Lead initiatives to translate data insights into actionable strategies that drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Technology Leadership

  • Oversee all aspects of the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, SharePoint, and Teams.

  • Collaborate with external contractors to enhance tech support, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across systems.

  • Proactively evaluate and adapt new technologies that align with and advance our mission.

Security and Compliance

  • Implement stringent security protocols and regular audits to safeguard sensitive information.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices, maintaining the trust of our clients and donors.

Capacity Building

  • Design and deliver training programs focused on elevating technological fluency across the organization.

  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of innovative solutions and best practices in data management and technology usage.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in data analytics and IT management.

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a nonprofit environment.

  • Proficient in SQL and capable of constructing and optimizing complex queries to manage and analyze large datasets.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage advanced pivot tables for complex data analysis.

  • Expertise in managing complex databases and IT systems, with a proficiency in data visualization tools and CRM software.

  • Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute data-driven strategies that address and anticipate organizational needs.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership qualities and a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
