Code of Conduct

We welcome everyone and want your visit here to be positive. 
We want everyone to feel safe and respected.

Our Code of Conduct is intended to provide clear expectations for everyone who is visiting, volunteering, or working at the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank. We expect everyone to follow the Code of Conduct below.

Above all, treat staff, volunteers, fellow visitors, and our facility with respect.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for the following behavior:

  1. Discrimination of any kind including but not limited to age, gender, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation.

  2. Sexual harassment of any kind.

  3. Threats or intimidation in any form.

  4. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior inside the building or within 30 feet of the front, back or side doors.

  5. Inappropriate language, profanity, hateful, or demeaning speech.

  6. Any activity that puts the safety of our guests, volunteers, or employees at risk

  7. Deliberate damage to the facility or other people’s property.

  8. Vaping or smoking inside the building or within 30 feet of the front, back, or side doors.

  9. Possession of firearms or weapons on IFCB property.

  10. Bringing animals into the building other than service animals as defined by law.

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct or to stop unacceptable behavior when asked may result in expulsion from the food bank, disqualification from future services, or the involvement of police or relevant authorities.

The Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank reserves the right to deny services or ask anyone to leave at any time.

IFCB leadership team reserves the right to ask anyone to leave at any time if an individual creates an unwelcoming, unsafe, discriminatory, or threatening environment.
