Uma has over 20 years of experience in retail banking and is currently with HomeStreet Bank. She also serves as Joint Treasurer for the board of the Hindu temple in Bothell, where she organizes community outreach events, maintains accounts and payroll, and helps with fundraising efforts.
Uma is excited and thankful to draw on her banking and volunteer experience to serve the community and the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank, including as a member of the Finance Committee.
Uma lives in Sammamish with her husband and two kids, and she has been a resident of the Issaquah/Sammamish area since she moved to the US from Tamil Nadu in India in 2000.
